Globalization

The course introduces the interdisciplinary perspectives in understanding the basic concepts of international studies.  The focus is on the study of global regions, global international organizations, cultures, contemporary issues and how all these combine towards globalization.  A great attention shall be focused on the manifestations of contemporary processes, basic concepts and perspectives on international studies, political, economic and socio-cultural approaches in the understanding of basic concepts of globalization and changes affecting he contemporary world since the 1990s. The course shall include the identification of linkages of consumption, social justice and ecological and socio-cultural integrity.  Lectures, discussions and class presentations shall comprise the totality of the classes.
