Public Management for Development

Revisiting the Land of Chang (elephants) after five years gave me a sense of HOPE that yes! the Philippines can fast track its development through public management.  Thailand, known as Siam in the past, is one of the countries in Asia that was not colonized by the Padre Damaso, the Honda Boys nor G.I. Joe like the Philippines.  Nonetheless, it is a developing nation.  Unlike the Philippines, it boasts of a faster rate of increase in government revenues and raised national income.

GENDER ROLES

Socialization or enculturation is the process by which people acquire skills, learn rules and internalize the values of society.  This includes both explicit instruction and modeling by example.  From the person's perspective, socialization is the process of entering the human group-being inducted into the secrets of society.
Socialization is the process in which sheer behavior is transformed to conduct.  the human person becomes self aware and able to guide his conduct.  The set of behavioral characteristics that every society considers appropriate to the sexes is a cultural construct known as GENDER. Gender identity is one's feeling of being male or female.
